The Azimuth Hotel is located next to the junction of two big streets: Lomonosovskiy Prospekt and Rizhskiy Prospekt. It means that a cab can be hailed at any hour of the day or night. Airport Pulkovo is only a 20 minutes' drive away. The railway station Varshavskiy Vokzal is about 20 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is formerly known as Sovietskaya and was managed by the Intourist (State Tourist Agency). It is now under the new management of the Azimut group. Azimut manages the biggest hotels' network in Russia. The hotel was fully refurbished in 2005 with every room upgraded to foreign standards.
