DAY 1 
Moscow
  

"Welcome to Russia!" or "S priezdom!" Our friendly and courteous driver will be there to meet you upon your arrival to Moscow. While the transfer to your accommodation you will have  a first glimpse on the Gold-Domed Capital of Russia.

You will have some time to check-in at the hotel, refresh yourself and take some rest before getting on the tour!
 


GUIDED WALKING CITY TOUR and BOAT TRIP by public tram

This walking guided city tour shows you around the city center of Moscow. During this excursion you’ll get a good account of the history, architecture and main landmarks of the city. There will be some stops for photographing.The tour starts at Tverskaya Street—one of the main and most exciting of all streets in Moscow. It leads to the heart of the city—the Kremlin and Red Square. You will see the Red Square with the History Museum, the Trading Arcades of GUMLenin’s Mausoleum and, of course, the symbol of Moscow — St. Basil’s cathedral.Enjoying the best panoramic views of the Kremlin, you will cross the river and come to the lovely park in the Bolotnaya (Swamp) Square (although it bears no resemblance to a swamp anymore).Then you will take a stroll to the symbol of the Stalin's rule—"The House on the Embankment", a grey monster with ill fame. It was the residence of the Soviet “aristocracy”.From the Bolshoy Kamenny (Big Stone) Bridge, you will have a splendid view of Christ the Savior Cathedral, which has an extremely colourful history. Here, you will be able to take panoramic pictures of the Kremlin’s Cathedrals and the Grand Kremlin Palace. Then you will have the opportunity to relax in the Alexander Garden and watch the change of guards at the Tomb of Unknown Soldier.
Then you will take a public tram trip enjoying the superb and glorious view of the Capital  from the water.
At the end of the tour, the guide will walk you back to the hotel.  




DAY 2  

Check-out. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the day! Our guide and driver will meet you at the reception of the hotel with the sign with your name on it. 

BRIEF GUIDED VERNISAGE TOUR

You will visit Vernisage Izmaylovo - the world's largest trade fair of objects of fine arts and crafts, folk arts and crafts, souvenirs and antiques, one of the brightest attractions of modern Moscow. A unique shopping complex is located in a beautiful historic location on the outskirts of Moscow's Izmailovo Park, along the banks of the pond near the Royal Romanov Family Estate, the Church of the Nativity. The complex includes the art fair and crafts center.
Excursion starts at the central square, where begins a brief sightseeing tour of the Izmaylovo Kremlin and being told a story about the history and features of Russian architecture. You will get acquainted with the history of crafts and craftsmanship that have become a significant phenomenon of Russian culture.
Here will have a great chance to purchase last minute traditional Russian souvenirs for your family, friends and yourself that will serve for a long time to refresh your memories of this journey of a lifetime!

After the tour, our driver will take you to the Train Station. Train to Irkutsk



DAY 3 - 5  

On train.

It takes almost 90 hours and about 5200 km from Moscow to get to Irkutsk located in the heart of Siberia!

The first city where the train will take a longer stop is Yaroslavl, one of the cities comprising the Golden Ring, one of the most beautiful cities in Russia on the banks of the Volga River, famous for its majestic Cathedrals, unique merchant churches, remnants of an ancient trading center.
The next city is Perm, former closed to the regular visitors due to its' military-industrial complexes. Nowadays, its a stunning city boasting a very long list of musical traditions, the city stretched for 65 km along both banks of the Kama and Volga rivers.
Closer to the night you will pass Yekaterinburg situated on the boundary between Europe and Asia.
You will be stopping at Novosibirsk closer to midnight, the city is famous for its Akademgorodok where one can find more than 15 universities, 43 institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and over 100 other research institutions of nearly all research branches. Krasnoyarsk  - located  between rivers of Yenissei and Katshiill, will be your last longer stop before arrival. Long time ago the city served as a place of exile for political prisoners of Russian Empire, most noted the Decembrists. After Krasnoyarsk the part of Trans-Siberian route is considered to be the most beautiful. You will see incredibly stunning nature with so many Siberian rivers and lakes, forests and mountains.
The trip will take you almost 4 days. 


DAY 6 
Irkutsk
  

Upon your arrival to Irkutsk you will be met by our driver. While the transfer to your accommodation in Listvyanka you will have  a first glimpse on the Capital of the Pribalkalye, East Siberia.

You will have some time to check-in at the hotel, refresh yourself and take some rest before getting on the tour!
 


GUIDED TOUR at LAKE BAIKAL

During this tour in Listvyanka village the guide will show you around, you will get acquainted with the nature of this region of Russia and will see the fascinating panorama of Baikal lake from the panoramic area. The legendary Lake Baikal with it's fascinating nature and unique fauna is the oldest, deepest (1721 m) and cleanest lake in the world. You will be taken up to the observation point Cherskogo rock by cable way, where a panoramic area will let you enjoy an amazing view of lake Baikal and all the nature that surrounds it.
At the end of the tour, the driver will drop you off at the hotel. Balance of day free time to explore the village at your own pace. 




DAY 7  

Check-out. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the day! Our guide and driver will meet you at the reception of the hotel with the sign with your name on it. Transfer to Irkutsk.

GUIDED TOUR to TALTSI MUSEUM

You will visit Taltsy museum, which is situated on the way from Listvyanka to Irkutsk. Taltsy is an open-air museum of wooden architecture which is situated on the picturesque bank of the Angara river. Architecture – ethnographic museum Taltsy is a unique collection of expositions reflecting the history and culture of the ethnic groups living in Pribaikalye.

Upon arrival to Irkutsk our driver will drop you off at the hotel. The rest of the time is your own to explore the city before the departure the next morning. 


DAY 8  

Check-out. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get reagy for the day! Our driver will meet you at the reception of the hotel with the sign with your name on it and take you to the railway station.

Train to Ulan-Bator.

It takes almost 33 hours from Irkutsk to get to Ulan-Bator. 

The first city where the train will take a longer stop is Ulan-Ude - the capital of the Republic of Buryatiya and the center of the Russian Buddhism, - where you will have about an hour to get off the train and take a short walk at the platform early in the morning. 
The train will run along the lake shore and you will enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding nature. By the lunch time you will arrive to Naushki - the closest Russian town located near the border with Mongolia. Please note you will make the border crossing into Mongolia with the usual halt for formalities.  


 

DAY 9 
Ulan-Bator
  

Our friendly driver will be there to meet you upon your arrival to Ulan-Bator early in the morning. Transfer to Terelj National park.

TRIP to TERELJ NATIONAL PARK 

Gorkhi-Terelj National Park is one of the national parks of Mongolia. The Terelj tourist zone has a number of "tourist camps". The Terelj settlement is located in the valley of the Terelj River , approximately 66 km from the Ulan-Bator city center. A small southern portion of the park is developed for tourists, with restaurants, souvenir shops, horses and camels for rent, and tourist ger camps. The park also has a Buddhist monastery that is open to visitors. Park wildlife includes brown bears and over 250 species of birds. The Tuul River flows through the park. The park has many rock formations for rock climbers, and includes two famous formations named for things they resemble. The guide will take you to one of them – the famous Turtle Rock. You will see the 100 Monks Cave - where buddhist monks hid from oppression, some say that about 100 monks hid here,  - and Terelj Monastery

You will have a Mongolian BBQ in the evening. Overnight stay in ger camp.

 

DAY 10 - 11 
Ulan-Bator
  

Breakfast at the ger camp. Transfer to Ulan-Bataar  

Gandan Monastery ("Great Place of Complete Joy")- a Tibetan-style monastery in the Mongolian capital of Ulan-Bator that has been restored and revitalized since 1990. It currently has over 150 monks in residence. It features a 26.5-meter-high statue of Migjid Janraisig, a Buddhist bodhisattva also known as Avalokitesvara. During the guided tour you will visit this monastery. 
Winter Palace - that is a museum now, - is the only one palace left from originally 4 residences of the eighth Jebtsundamba Khutughtu, who was later proclaimed Bogd Khan, or emperor of Mongolia. The complex includes six temples. On display are many of the Bogd Khan's possessions, such as his throne and bed, his collection of art and stuffed animals, his ornate ceremonial ger, and a pair of ceremonial boots given to the Khan by Russian Tsar Nicholas. 
Your next stop will be Zaisan Memorial located south of Ulan-Batar that honors Soviet soldiers killed in World War II. Located on a hill, the memorial features a circular memorial painting that depicts scenes of friendship between the peoples of the USSR and Mongolia. After driving to the uppermost parking lot on the hill, visitors must make a climb of three hundred steps before reaching the monument and mural. Those who make the climb are rewarded with a panoramic view of the entire city of Ulan- Bator in the valley below, as well as the Tuul River flowing past the city. 
And at last, you will visit the famous Sukhbaatar square that was named after and features an equestrian statue of Damdin Sükhbaatar, one of the leaders of Mongolia's 1921 revolution. The statue is located directly in front of the Saaral Ordon (Government Palace). 
At the end of the tour, the guide and driver will take you back to the hotel for check-in.

It takes almost 30 hours and about 1400 km from Ulan-Bator to get to Beijing!

The entire day will be spent on the train, admiring the breathtaking scenery of valleys and mountains



DAY 12 
Beijing
  

Our friendly driver will be there to meet you upon your arrival to Beijing at lunchtime. While the transfer to your accommodation you will take a first view of the Capital of China.

You will have a chance to time to check-in at the hotel hotel, refresh yourself and take some rest before setting off on the tour!
 


GUIDED CITY TOUR with visit to FORBIDDEN CITY 

During this city tour the guide will show you around the city of Beijing and visit the most popular sightseeing spots:
Forbidden City - now houses the Palace Museum, used to be the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Built in 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 buildings and covers 720,000 m2. The palace complex exemplifies traditional Chinese palatial architecture, and has influenced cultural and architectural developments in East Asia and elsewhere. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987 and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.
Summer Palace or literally the Altar of Heaven is a complex of religious buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.
Temple of Heaven vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing, China. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometres (720 acres), three-quarters of which is water. The front hill is rich with splendid halls and pavilions, while the back hill, in sharp contrast, is quiet with natural beauty. In the Summer Palace, one finds a variety of palaces, gardens, and other classical-style architectural structures. In December 1998, UNESCO included the Summer Palace on its World Heritage List. It declared the Summer Palace "a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. The natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value." 
At the end of the tour, the guide and driver will take you back to the hotel for check-in.  



DAY 13

GUIDED TOUR to GREAT WALL 

Today our guide will take you to see the number one of MUST-SEE tourist attractions – the Great Wall. The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China in part to protect the Chinese Empire or its prototypical states against intrusions by various nomadic groups or military incursions by various warlike peoples or forces. Several walls were being built as early as the 7th century BC, these, later joined together and made bigger and stronger, are now collectively referred to as the Great Wall.
At the end of the tour, the guide and driver will take you back to the hotel for check-in.  


DAY 14  

Transfer to the airport/train station
