Tour to the museum of wooden architecture "Taltsi" located on the way from Listvyanka to Irkutsk where you can see a collection of expositions showing the ancient life of a Russian village. 78 wooden buildings are presented and give a very nice overview about lifestyle and architecture of the ethnical groups living in acient Sibieria.

Despite its modest size Listvyanka is one of the busiest tourist centers in whole Siberia. During this walking tour a local guide shows you the village with the market place, St. Nicolas church, Shaman rock and gets up with you to the peak Chersky with a wonderful view over the Lake. In addition to the City Walking Tour through Listvyanka you visit the Limnological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It studies the lakes and man-made reservoirs of Siberia and the Russian Far East, with particular focus on Lake Baikal. The institute has a small but very interesting museum of the flora and fauna of Baikal and its region.

Banya is the Russian way of sauna. It's more hot and wet, but for the local cliate the right way and for Russian either a part of a natural life-style or the best entertainment for friends in the evening. In winter time you might do ice whole swimming after Banya. This "excursion" includes 2 hours of hot Banya and a transfer from/to you accommodation.

From December to March you can enjoy wonderful snow and sunny weather in Siberia.
